Science 8:  Today we began with a short discussion about fibre, a kind of carbohydrate that is not digestible, and whose proper name is cellulose.  We looked at the Canada Food Guide "plate", that shows how a beneficial diet is about half vegetables and fruit - this provides a lot of cellulose.  We read pages 70 - 75, then completed page 81 # 2-7, 13, and 16 in quality point form.  We finished with a quiz on the Digestive System.  Click here to see the Sci8 assignment log. 

Chemistry 12:  We began with a short review of pH and pOH, then completed 20G.  All the questions and follow-up questions are due Thursday.  On Friday,  you will be given 30 min to write an awesome conclusion, then the lab will be collected.  We finished with a short quiz on pH and pOH.  Click here to see the Ch12 assignment log.
