Science 10:  After a short review of Meiosis, we spent some time on Scientific Notation.  We constructed a Karyotype by cutting and arranging the chromosomes from a photo, and completed the related WS.  In the last 30 minutes, we did some free form research on a topic of personal interest and took point form notes.  After one or two other sessions of a similar nature, we will write a short article using sound Science writing techniques.  Only the glued Karyotype is due next class.

Grade 8 Volleyball:  Practice on Friday at 3:30 - 5:15.  Important Dates:  Saturday, September 29, Grade 8 Girls Last Spike Tournament here at RSS.  All players will be asked to bring a small snack for the coaches/official's room.  (fruit, veggies, baking, mini sandwiches, finger food, juice boxes, etc)
