Chemistry 12: We began with a review of Hydrolysis (will they make acidic, basic, or neutral solutions:  Magnesium Acetate, Potassium Bromide, Iron (III) Chloride, Sodium Monohydrogen Phosphate).  Then we learned how to work with concentrations in Weak Acid Solutions.  Reading 4.14 is helpful.  We did Unit 4 # 74-79.  In the second half we did Lab 20H Part I.  We only calculated pH for these volumes:  0.00 mL, 5.00, 15.00, 22, 24.5, 24.95, 25.00. 25.05, 25.50, 30.00, 35.00, 50.00.   Next class we will have a quiz on Ka Calculations. 

Chemistry 11:  We took notes on Ionic Bonding, read pgs 170 - 175, and completed U8# 53, 55, 57-59, 63.  We did Lab 6D Part I, as well as Calculations # 1-5.  All this is due Friday.  We also made our own mini Dead Sea.
