Chemistry 12:  U4 # 1-10 (due Monday).  Lab 19C (Due Thursday at start of class).  Solubility Pr. Test (Due Friday, same day as your Solubility Test).

Chemistry 11: Due Wednesday is the WS titled "Predicting Products".  We started the long green Stoichiometry WS, but it is not due.  Lab 6A was due today, but not collected.

Science 10:  Today is the first of 2 hours of research dedicated to learning about the impacts of Energy Transformations from Technologies.  Your task is described below:

Show that you know some local and global impacts of energy transformations from technologies.

Topics you could learn about:   hydro electric dams, wind farms, biofuel production, natural gas production, power grids, fossil fuel pipelines, solar generating stations, coal fired electricity generation, geothermal heating, world food production, liquid fossil fuels, glaciers and ice sheets, nuclear electrical stations, Columbia River Treaty, Tesla, fuel cells... ask me if you are interested in some other energy-related topic.

Impacts could be on the land, water or air in the area (or further away) where the energy is extracted, processed, or used.  The impacts could also be on the people or other organisms that live near these places.  Since Global Warming is the main environmental threat of our time, be sure to explain the role your topic plays in Global Warming.  Be specific about the places you are learning about.  Local is nice, but non-local is ok too.

Today is a learning day only.  Take notes in a new Word Document to record your learning. Make a list of websites that you are using as sources.  Save this Word document to your One Drive using a descriptive file name.  Later we will find a way for you to present your information.
