Science 8:  A few minutes were spent looking at our plate boundary maps finding places such as New Zealand, Iceland, the Great Rift Valley in Africa, and the Scotia Plate.  We watched this clip after reviewing plate tectonics, the read section 11.1 in our textbook and completed the Plate Boundaries WS, which is due next class.  In the final minutes we reviewed rock families and began piecing together the way that rocks cycle from one familiy to the Click here to see the Sci8 assignment log. 

Chemistry 12:    We reacted a penny in nitric acid, like we did on the first day of the course.  We used the table of standard reduction potentials to determine how to write the products this reaction.  Due next class is Unit 5 # 47.  Click here to see the Ch12 assignment log.
