Science 8:  After a short review of elements and energy categories, the Density Mini REview and 6.2 Worksheets were collected.  We finished Lab 10-3 (All Analyze and Conclude and Apply Questions).  We then took notes on Atomic Structure, and observed how a beam of electrons can be made from a Cathode Ray Tube.  We finished # 2-5, 7-10, 12, 13 on a WS titled Page 208.  This short clip shows atomic structure quite clearly.    Click here to see the Science 8 Assignment Log. 

Chemistry 11:  We began with a mini review of balancing chemical equations.  We then finished our notes on Categories of Chemical reactions used our skills to categorize the reactions in Unit 6 # 66 and 67 (any 30 problems total).  The first part of Lab 6A was completed, and then we finished the WS titled Predicting Products.  We had a short discussion about battery powered vehicles and fuel cell vehicles.  All but Lab 6A are due on Friday.   Click here to see the Chemistry 11 Assignment Log.
