Science 8:   We wrote brief notes on the structure of the Earth, then we read pages 402 tp 407 in our textbook.  We constructed a scale diagram of the Earth's Layers and we completed Page 413 # 1-4 and 9.  In the second half we learned about plate tectonics and watched this clip.  We labelled a cross section diagram of a divergent and convergent boundary and read section 17.4 in the old Science Probe 10.   Click here to see the Science 8 Assignment Log. 

Chemistry 11:  We went through WS #4 before we learned about cis and Trans isomers.  After reading pages 226 - 230 we completed WS#6.  A practice quiz was completed before break and was marked and returned in the second half as students completed Lab 16D.  Only WS#6 is due for Friday.   Click here to see the Chemistry 11 Assignment Log.
