Chemistry 12:  Today we wrote the Equilibrium Unit Test.  No homework is due for Tuesday.

Science 9:  pg 91 was collected from you today.  We took brief notes on the Nitrogen cycle, then read Section 4.3 in the Probe 10, then we did pg 96 # 2-10, 15 and 17.  Half in sentences, half in quality point form with no single word responses.   Pg 96 is due Tuesday

Thursday, October 10th

Science 9:  At the start of class we marked pg 85 # 1-10 from the Science Probe 10 Text and we reviewed local tree species (coniferous and deciduous).  We watched a TED talk on the Polar Biome, where producers are in short supply.  We started pg 91 # 1, 4-14, and 16 in sentences, again from the old Probe 10 but this was not assigned for Friday.  Click here to view the Probe 10 section.  In the second half we looked at Williamson's Lake water with microscopes, and sketched and labelled 2 phytoplankton and 2 zooplankton.
