Science 10:  Today we discussed our schedule (Tuesday, regular Teams class at 10:30, Afternoon classes at RSS Wed/Thurs, Regular Teams class at 10:30 Friday).  We watched this clip on energy transformations when striking a golf ball, and this clip that explains the workings of our dam, which my Dad built.  He had help.  Do Energy Task #2 today, it is due Monday at midnight.  Task #3 is ready for you if you want to.

Careers 9:  We had a class today and recorded it.  We will meet again next Friday for sure, but not Monday Morning.  I will have a Monday or Tuesday afternoon Careers class as well, please review your emails once per day for notification.

Science 10: Today we will have a short discussion about Biotechnology, pedigree charts, and using Biotechnology to answer questions about Human history over the last 100 000 years.  We will watch this TED Talk about human history as determined by Geneticists.  Your last Biology assignment has been posted, next Tuesday at 10:30 we wills start with the Energy unit on Microsoft Teams.  In-school classes may happen the week after:)

Science 10:  An answer key and a partial instructional video have been posted for the Genetics Problems WS (Task#3).  The Genetics Problems WS is due today, Monday.  Our next task is to use our skills in genetics to develop an understanding of why there are so many kinds of creatures on our planet.  For Tuesday's 10:30 am class, it would benefit you to read pgs 44 to 49 before class starts.  See you Tuesday.

Science 10:  During the lesson today we watched this video on Meiosis.   Today,  after our 10:30 am lesson you will need to read pgs 31 and 32.  Do the Genetics Problems WS which you will find in the Assignments section or in Content Library/Biology/Task #3.  See the Hints page for a how to video and an answer key.

Every Tuesday and Friday we will have a lesson at 10:30 am, lasting for between 30 and 60 minutes.  You are expected to be present at the lesson, unless it conficts with something else of higher priority, like another class or work or a family event.  If you cannot attend, please send me an email so I know that all is good with you.  I will record all my classes.

Science 10:  Way back on March 13th we did pg 21 # 2-6, make sure this is done.  Read your work and make sure you understand it, then read pgs 17-20 in your textbook. Complete pg 21 # 7-15 after our class, which starts at 10:30 am today.  Add this assignment to your Hand In section in your Class Notebook, it is due by 9:30 on Tuesday, May 5th.  Our next class will be at 9:30 on Tuesday.
