Science 8:  Today we started by looking at the calendar and speaking about our January 25th Final Exam.  We  reviewed local mountains (Copeland, Frisby, Revelstoke, Mackenize, Cartier, McCrae, Begbie, Mapherson, Boulder, and Kirkup) and rivers/streams (Columbia, Illecillewaet, Jordan, Tum Tum, Beaver, Eagle).    We read section 17.1 from a hand-out about the structure of the earth and everyone created a lablelled and colored cross section of the Earth.

Earth Science 11:  Today we started by looking at the calendar and speaking about our January 23rd  Final Exam.   We reviewed Rotation, Revolution, Precession, and the 9 planet names in order.  After reading pg 612 - 614, we did activity 13C from a hand-out.  The last 20 minutes was spent finishing the documentary called "Giants".

Science 10:  Today we started by looking at the calendar and speaking about our January 24th  Final Exam.  We reviewed the 9 planets, and various types of motion that planets perform (rotation, revolution, precession).  Due Tuesday is pg 385 # 2-12.  Due Wednesday is Lab 14B, a beginner's star map.
