Science 10: Today I collected any remaining Matching assignments and Lab 18E reports from Monday and Tuesday. We read pg 234 to 238 and did pg 239 # 1-4,7,9 in fine sentences. We reviewed atomic structure by making an atomic model on poster paper. Everyone was assigned an isotope, except for one lucky student who was assigned Hydrogen-1, Hydrogen-2, and Hydrogen-3. The instructions are written below in blue.
Create a mini poster showing the structure of an atom. You will be assigned a particular atom of an element, called an isotope.
-show the placement and number of subatomic particles
-show a standard symbol for your isotope
-label the features on your standard symbol
-create a copy of Table 1 pg 156 (old Probe 10)
-have a large title, and put your name and date in the lower left corner
