Science 9:  Today we learned that atoms of the 6 elements make up most of our bodies (CHNOPS), and we considered where our atoms were before we were born.  We also discussed energy, which is the ability to make things move.  Energy causes atoms to cycle around the globe, are energy is needed to construct the atoms in formation that is you.  Thermal Energy is transfered around the globe,  and we did a short lab on the three methods of Heat transfer:  conduction, Convection, and Radiation. 

Chemistry 11:  We completed Lab 6B today (all questions, FUQ, Conclusion like we normally do) and this is due Tuesday (Monday is Careers Day for Senior Students). 

Monday, November 8th

Chemistry 11:  Today we did Lab 6B Part I.  We completed the Questions and Calculations # 1a, 1b, and 2-4.  We also started the second long stoichiometry WS, and I recommended that you complete the front side for Tuesday.  

Science 9:  After our Chemistry Test we had a short Community Builder with Ms. McLay.
