Chemistry 11: We learned about Alkenes and Alkynes today, and completed WS #4. In the last few minutes we did a quiz on cyclics and haloalkanes, which you can choose to count for yourself or not.
Science 8: We learned about 3 type of boundaries, the places where plates interact with other. We watched come clips about Iceland, where a divergent boundary is sending up lava and causing grief for people living near the volcano. In the last minutes we took a look at our wave and optics tests - well done!
Chemistry 12: After a short warm up at the arena, everyone attempted some triple axel and double axels on skates. Easy. In the pairs event, several students were seen throwing their partner into the air, spinning, before landing on one skate while going backward. Slightly harder. Have a terrific holiday:)
