Chemistry 11:    We first reviewed some key terms and their definitions (atom, pure, solution, molecule, Chemistry, significant figures) , then we handed in the WS titled Unit conversions as well as Lab 3A. We completed a short quiz on measuring and significant figures, then we completed the procedure for Lab 4D.  The lab is not due - we will work on the Questions and Calculation as well as the Follow-up Questions next class.  Click here for the Chem 11 Assignment log.

Chemistry 12:  We did a short review, then learned about reversible reactions by viewing the PHeT model and seeing a reversible chemical reaction.  We finished reading 1.7 and 1.8, then completed # 29- 45 (skip 33).  Those who were done completed the Review of 1.7 and 1.8 WS, and some managed to get to the Review of 1.1 to 1.8 WS.  See the side counter for answers.  In the second half we wrote brief notes on Reaction Mechanisms, then we read 1.9 and completed Unit 1. # 46-52.  All the textbook work is due Friday.  The two WS are not due.  Unit Test onClick here for the Chem 12 Assignment Log.
