Chemistry 12:  Today we began with Lab 20G, and we completed Parts I, II, and III.  Have the Calculations Parts I, II, and III done for Monday.  In the second half, we did Unit 4 # 38-40, and a minireview WS.

Capstone Presentations:   Grade 12s!  Now that your scholarship applications are handed in, it is time to prepare for your Capstone Presentation.  See the Career Life Connections Guidebook for requirements and instructions.  Visit Mr. Gale or Mr. Rourke to get yourself on the schedule for your Microsoft Teams presentation.  Set up a time to make a test run too, to make sure you know how to present on Microsoft Teams.

 Chemistry 12:  We started with a Mini Review  (4.1 to 4.3) , then we took notes on Acid and Base Equilibria in Water.  Unit 4 # 25-30 was assigned, and time was given to finish Lab 20B and prepare Lab 20G.  We made our 0.0500 M H2C2O4 solutions for Lab 20G.  Please have 20G prepared for next class.

 Chemistry 12:  Today we did Lab 20B, and this will be due Thursday (Questions 1,2, Follow-up Questions # 1-3, and no conclusion). .  We also took notes on Strong and Weak Acids, and we did Unit 4 # 21-24.

 Chemistry 12:  We started with our Solubility Test.  Unit 4 # 1-19 should be done for Tuesday.  Prep Lab 20B too.

 Chemistry 12:  Unit 4 # 1-14 was assigned today.  We also spent time on the Solubility Minireviews and the Solubility Practice Test.  On Monday there will be a Solubility Test, and you will be using a fresh data booklet without helpful notes and examples.

 Chemistry 12:  Today we learned about Hard Water, did a Mini Review, took notes on Altering the Solubility of a Salt, and did Unit 3 # 81-86.  A little time was given for Lb 19C, and the Follow-up Questions are due Thursday.  The Solubility test is on Monday.

Local Scholarship Applications are due on Wednesday, March 10th at 8:45 am.

 Chemistry 12:  Unit 3 # 56-63, 50, 51 was assigned after we did a short mini review Worksheet.  Not really any time was given for your Lab 19C, which will be due Thursday with a conclusion.  In the second half we learned about qualitative analysis, and Unit 3 # 29-33 was assigned.  We will have a solubility unit test on Monday.
