Science 8:  Today we wrote notes on Atomic Theory (atoms are made of electrons, protons and neutrons).   We spent some time exploring static electrical charge, which has role in the structure and behaviour of atoms.  We charged various types of plastic, glass and metals by rubbing them with textiles or fur.  We then held them in a cradle (to allow very small forces to be detected) to determine if attraction or repulsion or no effect occurred.
