Science 8:  Today we wrote our Chemistry Test.  If you were absent, write your test at HW Club on Monday after school.  You will need your usual supplies (ruler, calculator, pencil, and our periodic table).  We worked on the Wave WS and the Pendulum lab today too, but only the WS  is due Monday.

Science 8:  Today we marked the Practice Test.  We took notes on waves, and how light behave like waves. Frequency is the number of cycles per second for some repeating behaviour, like the wingbeat of a bird.  We calculated that humming bird wing beats occur at about 88 Hz, and students were encouraged to try flapping their arms at that same fantastic rate.  We did a waves WS, which is not due on Friday.  We finished the day with a pendulum lab.
