Chemistry 12:  After a short review of key terms (lye, electrolyte, Arrhenius acid, Muriatic Acid,), we read section 4.5 and completed Unit 4 # 15-19.  We also completed the WS titled MiniReview of 4.1 to 4.4 and prepared Lab 20B, which we will do on Tuesday.  Click here to see the Ch12 assignment log.

Science 8:  We reviewed microscope anatomy first, then learned about the 5 charactieristics of Living things.  We also reviewed cell anatomy and watched this clip.  In the second half we made dry mounts of criss-crossing hairs (everyone donated 1 strand of hair).  We drew the field and wrote the magnification below our drawing.  Click here to see the Sci8 assignment log. 

Science 10:  We wrote brief notes on the Solar System after discussing the weekends' viewing.  Orion is will soon be impossible to see.  We made a placemat and wrote 3 key ideas for each planet as we read section 12.4 on the old Science Probe textbook.  This task is due on Tuesday.  In the final minutes we started Lab 5.2 (The Force of Gravity) from a hand-out.  Click here to see the Sci10 assignment log.
