Chemistry 12:  I collected the Solutions Practice Test today, as well as any missing Lab 19Cs.  We reviewed general acid and base knowledge, and learned about the Hydronium ion.  We read 4.1 to 4.3 and completed Unit 4 # 1-10.  In the second half the practice tests were returned and time was provided to mark the MC section and ask questions.  We took brief notes on Bronsted-Lowry acids and bases, and continued with section 4.4.  The Chapter 4 material is due Monday.  The Solubility Test will be on Friday.  Click here to see the Ch12 assignment log.

Science 8:   We started with 10 minutes of work time to finish Lab 6-4, then this was handed in.  We wrote the Waves and Optics Practice Test, and this was handed in so that the Written Response Section could be marked.  Click here to see the answer key.  We learned the anatomy of a microscope, and wrote a list of Dos and Don'ts while handling microscopes on the back.  In the final part of class we wrote notes on the Cell structure and learned the functions of each part.  Click here to see the Sci8 assignment log.
