Science 9:  Today we started with a Cell Division and Reproduction Practice Test.  Click here to see the answer key for the written portion.  Your scan-tron card was given back to you,  with the answers printed in pink if you made an error.  Look at your errors to improve your results on Friday's Cell Division and Reproduction Practice Test.   Before break Mr. B showed us a little explosion!   Thanks Mr. B!  In the second half, we looked samples of about 15 different elements, and completed a table where we recorded the element's name, symbol, and properties.  We also categorized the element as a metal or non-metal.

Chemistry 11, AE:  We learned how to do "two stepper" mole calculations, and used Unitary Rates to show our work.  Today is the only day I will ask you to use unitary rates, after today it is your choice on how to show your work but I do want you to know it is an effective and common way to show conversions of any kind.

In the second half you were divided into groups according to an area of focus chosen by you.  With your group, watch/read the resources offered to you.  Click on the links below that match your focus group, and watch or read the resource.
