Science 8:  We began with a discussion about pathogens, the First Line of Defense, and the Innate Immune response.    Time was given to finish part D of the flippit, the acquired immune response.  In the second half each person was assigned an illness caused by a pathogen.  After 30 minutes of research time and brief note taking, we presented our findings in groups of 2, then in groups of 3.  We finished off with this short clip about vaccines.
