Science 8:  We started by reviewing the parts of the respiratory system and learning how the heart works.  Everyone labelled a heart diagram WS.  We finished Lab 1-9, including our final mass measurment and Analyze # 1-5.  We took notes on the Circulatory system, read pgs 85 - 89, and did pg 89 # 1-5 in sentences.  In the final minutes we drew a table showing the mass in kg and g of standard science wieghts, and we estimated items in our lives that match these in mass. Next class we will do a practice test because on Tuesday we will have our first unit test. 

Chemistry 12:  Today we took notes on Le Chatelier's Principle, then we completed Unit 2 # 17-27.  We prepared Lab 19B.  In the second half we learned how to write equilibrium constant expressions and we did # 31-35.  This video shows the production of portland cement, the main ingredient in cement.
