Science 8: I collected pg 109 # 2,3,5-12, then we reviewed ideas about Vaccines.  We watched this clip about Vaccinations and this clip about mRNA vaccines, a relatively new technology.  We made a placemat to learn about disorders of the immune system and 7 ways to care for your immune system, then we read pgs 112 to 114 to fill in brief notes on the placemat.  The placemat is due Monday.  In the last minutes we marked pg 109 after Neige the Super TA returned our work to us.  Click here to see the assignment log.

Chemistry 12.  We did our Equilibrium Test Today.  Due Thursday 3:10 is your lab 19B.  Also, I wanted to collect your practice Test and all Unit 2 Problems today, but we were rushed to start so I will collect them Wednesday.

Chemistry 11:  We learned how to determine the empirical formula from the percent composition.  To practice this skills we did Unit 5 #46 a,b,c,e,g,and j.  The remainder of the time was spent on Lab 4D, and all the questions and follow-up questions are due on Thursday.  The WS "Putting it all Together" should be half done, but no due date has been set for that.

Science 8: We discussed oral health to review the innate immune response.  Time was given for pg 109 # 2,3,5-13, which is due Wednesday.  We continue to use the flippit, and everyone is encouraged to add useful notes to this tool - it may be used in some future assessment like a quiz or test.   We finished by reading about Vaccines (pg 110 to 111) and adding key ideas to the last panel (panel E) on the flippit.
