Science 8:  We melted some Wood's metal as part of a discussion about the Kinetic Molecular Theory.  After writing some brief notes together, we read pates 246 - 249 and completed page 249 # 1-6 in sentences.  These are due on Thursday.  This PhET animation shows the KMT visually quite well.  We finished with a short measuring exercise, but this is not due Thursday.   Click here to see the Science 8 Assignment Log.

Grade 8 Boys Volleyball.  Everyone is asked to arrive at 4:00 Wednesday to help with setting up the gym:  2 courts, perimeter and team chairs, tables, perfect net hight.  Playing Wednesday October 15th at home are Jack, Hugo, Caleb, Mateo, Phil, Ollie, Darcy, Fionn, Cole, Harper, North, Vincent, Gaurav, Max, Dylan, and Dawson.    This is the schedule for score keeping:
