Chemistry 11:  We started off with a short lesson on unit prefixes (milli, kilo, micro and Mega) and did a WS to practice unit conversions an practice Significant Figures skills.  We spent time finishing Lab 2E, followed by the Intro Unit Practice Test (both due for next day).  The Intro Unit Test is on Friday.  In the second half, we started with the next unit - Moles! Little furry creatures that burrow under the ground and eat crunchy beetles and the odd worm.  Unit V # 6,7 (any 12 total) is not due Friday.

Science 10:  We started by going over the Bio Mid Unit Practice Test, and everyone received their pg 39 # 6-10 and pg 21 # 14 & 15 back.  We graphed the bean data, showing that length of bean demonstrates a bell curve or natural distribution.  Before break we did the Ch 17 test on genetics as a review exercise.  We spent the second half of the period researching our personal interest topic, writing notes in a document that can be shared with me.
