Science 10:  After the Genetics Quizzes from last day were returned we took notes on "How Proteins are Made".  We watched an informative animation, click here to see it.  We read pg 141 - 146 from the old Nelson Biology text (found in my cupboard) and did # 1-25 (answers only, not in sentences).   Click here to view the old text and assignment.   An answer key was posted on the side of the room.

In the second half, we spent time researching our choice topic.  Write point form notes about new information that you are learning.  Today I asked that only one quarter of the time be spent learning by watching videos,  and that you track your time and your sources.  We spent some time trying to distinguish between researching and being entertained.  Next Tuesday, you will bring your notes, and 2 or 3 pre printed graphics, and write a "review article" for your topic.
