Science 9:  I collected the practice test and marked it while everyone read pages 282 - 287 and completed a short placemat exercise on the 4 spheres.  This is due Friday.  We identified 6 local bird species:  flickers, chickadees, creepers, western tanagers, waxwings, and kestrels.   In the last 10 minutes we went through some of the more challenging parts of the Chemistry practice test.  Next day we will have a unit test on the Chemistry Unit.  Click here to see the Science 9 Assignment Log.

Science 8:   We reviewed atomic structure, then watched this clip about how quarks are small particles that make up protons and electrons.  We partially completed Lab 10-2, and will finish it tomorrow morning.    We will have a test on the Matter Unit on Monday.   Click here to see the Science 8 Assignment Log.
