Science 9:   To begin we marked page 163 and 165 from last class.  We completed 10 more practice problems where we had to name or write formulas for ionic compounds.  To learn about Covalent Compounds we read pages 168 - 173 and did the practice problems # 1,2 on page  which are made of molecules.  In the last 10 minutes we did a quiz on naming ionic compounds.    Click here to see the Science 9 Assignment Log.

Science 8:   We marked the WS titled 7.1 and took a look at this animation that shows how Rutherford learned the then we competed Lab 10-3 including a fill in the blank conclusion.  After completing an elements crossword, we did a little review exercise and watched this clip about atomic structure.    Click here to see the Science 8 Assignment Log.

Science 8:   We marked the WS titled 8.2 then we handed this in.  We prepared Lab 10-3 and completed all the procedure, Analyze Questions 1-4, and Conclude and Apply Questions 1-5.  This is not due Friday, but Monday.  We also took brief notes on Atomic Structure, then we competed hand-out 7.1 (# 1,5-7,12, which are due on Friday.  Click here to see the Science 8 Assignment Log.
