Earth Science 11:  British Columbia Mountains, Rivers, and Lakes:  On the numbered side of the BC map, make a neat numbered key of place names for BC.  On the reverse, created a colored and labelled map of BC showing important mountain ranges (Rocky Mountains, Coast Mountains, Purcels, Selkirks, Monashees, Cassiars, Ominicas, Cascades, Caribous, Skeenas, Vancouver Island Mountains.

In the second half we spent time talking about Radiometric Dating, and did Lab 12E (Finding Absolute Age of Rock Formations).  This will be due Monday.

Science 10:  After going over pg 317 # 2,4,5,10 and Lab10B, we took notes on Nuclear Fusion, read 11.5, and did pg 331 # 1-3, 9.   In the second half we did an Energy Practice test in preparation for Monday's test on Energy and Nuclear Science.  The practice test, Lab 10B,  and pg 331 is due on Friday.  We spent some time talking about keeping our learning tools in proper condition, including bringing the right supplies ( multiple pencils and pens, ruler, calculator, ample spare paper), and keeping items in your binder in order of date.

Science 8:  We started off by looking at a rock cut picture that allowed us to review types of rocks, faults, uplift, and relative age.  We spent time finishing the booklet titled "Concept 1:  Scientists debate how to ..." which includes filling in some questions, tables, and a Pangea cut and paste.  This hand-out and cut and paste is due on Friday.  We did lab 13E in the second half, and this due Monday.  We spent some time talking about keeping our learning tools in proper condition, including bringing the right supplies ( multiple pencils and pens, ruler, calculator, ample spare paper), and keeping items in your binder in order of date.
