Science 10:  We learned how Ionic compounds are brittle and cannot be melted at home because the ions are held together very tightly.  Covalent compounds can be melted at home and are usually flexible - the molecules that make them up are not bound to each other with much force.  We practiced names and formulas of ionic compounds, read section 7.2, and started pg 182 # 1-11(this is not due Tuesday).  In the last 15 minutes we did a quiz on Chemistry topics we have covered so far.

Careers 10 P56 (Hathorn)

After a short intro we completed a quick get-to-know survey.  We went over the BC graduation requirements and did a little paper mapping of our most favoured Grade 11 and 12 course list plus alternate #1 and alternate #2.   We then logged onto myBlueprint and completed the timetables in the Highschool left-tab.  View our school's website to see a list of courses likely offered next year.

We looked at 2 sample resume's to determine the author's approximate age.   The remainder was spent updating or making on your resume on myBlueprint.
