Chemistry 11:  Today we covered the Course Outline, classroom safety equipment, and an introduction on measurement.  Due Wednesday is the Measurement WS and your signed Course Outline. We also read section 1.1 and started our map of the classroom and surrounding area.  We will finish this map on Wednesday.  Please work on having all your supplies, as specified in the Course Outline.

Life Sciences 11:  We listed the levels of organization that biologists use to make sense of the living world, and we listed 5 characteristics of living things.  A WS with cell structure was assigned, and we read pg 30-35 to see what the functions of those structures were.  In the second half, we did lab 9, an introduction to Microscopy where we reviewed skills and language needed for all the microscope work we will do in this course.   Please have your outline signed by your adult for tomorrow.
