Life Sciences 11:  We started with a short review  of Protein synthesis, and we watched this video clip.   pg 635 # 1-9 was reviewed and it was collected by me.  We had a discussion about viruses, listed the ones we had heard of (corona, flu, SARS, HIV, polio, chicken pox, small pox, herpes, yellow fever, etc), and watched this clip of the influenza virus at work and how our immune systems defends against it.  This lead to a discussion of the 2 proposed vaccines from the US, which are mRNA vaccines. Time was given to complete Lab 10 (Measurement in microscopy).  We finished off with a short discussion of the Earth's history and we studied the Geological Time Scale on pg 24 and 25.

Chemistry 11:  We did Lab 2D for the first half, and you will be given 15 minutes to finish it next class.   We learned about Hydrates (read pg 72 and 73) and due next day is Unit 4 # 6,7 and any 8 total problems from # 4 & 5.  Intro Unit Test on Friday.
