Life Sciences:  After a short review, we had a discussion about the differences between asexual reproduction and sexual reproduction.  We read pg 119 to 126, then did pg 127 # 13-21 in fine sentences.  We then completed the review activity from Wednesday.  In the last part of our class we watched this clip on Meiosis and this clip on Fertilization.  We reviewed Genetics ideas from Grade 10 (gene, allele, homozygous, heterozygous, gamete, sperm, ova, fertilization, Punnet Square) and did the Review of Genetics WS.  For #4, create our own genetic problem involving a punnet square.  Practice Test Friday, and First Unit Test on Monday.

Chemistry 11: We reviewed Moles ideas from Wednesday and did Unit 5 # 8 and 9 (any 14 problems total).  The Intro Unit Practice test was completed next, then Lab 4B was prepared for Friday.  We continued learning about moles, this time calculating the moles of gas at Standard Temperature and Pressure.
