Life Science 11:  We started off with a review of cell anatomy & local bird species and watched this clip on cell anatomy and function.  We had a short discussion about how arriving a few minutes early to review with your partner is helpful in this course, given the amount of language that you will find here.  We took notes on Biomolecules, read pg 37-42, and completed pg 44 # 18-20 and 25-29 in sentences.  Time was given for Lab 9B and we practiced recognizing the difference between right and left helixes.  The last few minutes were spent reviewing.  Please ensure that your kit is complete soon (binder, paper, graph paper, pen/pencils, ruler, calculator)

Chemistry 11:   We reviewed how to measure to the nearest one tenth of the smallest division.  We took notes on the Categories of Matter and categorized last day's samples according to Pure/Mixture (and then accordingly Element/Compound or Suspension/Solution/Mechanical Mixture).  Time was given for Reading Section 1.1 to 1.6 and completing the map as explained in Hebdon.  We did # 48 and 49 in Unit 2 as well.  In the second half we added measurement info to our Databooklet and did the Density Lab, which is due Thursday (Calculate the 4 densities).
