Science 8:  First we marked the MC on the Waves and Optics Practice Test, and made a few improvements to our written responses.  Time was provided to do page 215 # 1-6,8,9 in point form and Activities 11E and 11F from the old Probe 9.  We finished by quickly doing Lab 5-4 (this can be done at home too) and some review of eye anatomy and mirages.  No work is due next day, although I want to collect your practice test again, so please ensure it is done.  We will do an Optics and Wave test on Monday.

Science 9:  We started by reviewing the Laws of Electrostatics with this image - trying to determine if these sticks will repel, attract, or do nothing.  This video explains wind turbine electricity, while this clip shows the constructions of a large wind turbine,  We wrote brief notes on Current, then read section 10-2 in the old Probe 9.  We started page 309 # 1-5 and 7-12 in point form, but only up to # 7 is due for Monday.
