Science 8:  We discussed optical instrument that extend human vision, then we watched this clip about the James Webb Telescope and looked at this large radio telescope in Puerto Rico.  We read pages 208 to 213 and wrote brief notes on Near Sightedness, Far Sightedness, Astigmatism, and Blindness.   If you were absent, complete these tasks at home and have them ready for Wednesday afternoon.   The last few minutes were spent using the school's telescope.  We will have a test on Waves and Optics on Friday.

Science 9:   We read pages 202 to 205 to learn about Electrostatics in more detail.  Due next day is page 205 # 1-5,7 (all in point form except # 7, which needs to be in proper sentences).  If you were away today (April 14th), complete this work at home and have it ready for your next class.  A little time was provided to finish the electronics booklet.  In the last 15 minutes we measured the Voltage of some batteries using a multimeter to determine if they were "dead" or not.
