Science 8: After a short review of key terms I collected pg 249 # 1-5 (in sentences). We learned how to measure volumes of liquids using beakers and graduated cylinders. Scientists measure to nearest one-tenth of the smallest division, which ensures that every experimenter gets the same number of digits in their measurement. We completed this WS to practice. In the last 10 minutes we sketched and labeled the WHMIS symbols. Click here to see the assignment log.
Chemistry 11: I checked the States of Matter WS, then we learned how to measure to the nearest one tenth of the smallest division. This WS is due Monday, and provides good measuring practice. We read sections 3.1 and 3.2 in Hebdon. We began Unit #3 Exercises # 1-3, 5, and 13-16 but this is not due on Monday.
