Science 10:  We started off with a short review of Mitosis and other Bio tidbits from Sci 8 and 9.  A Short clip on Mitosis was shown.  We read about Sexual Reproduction, and did Review 16.3 # 1-5,7 (click here for the hand out) and Pg 21 #2-6 from our textbooks. 

Careers 8 (Von Bremen, Day 4 of 4, week 2)

We began with a short review, then discussed some Dos and Don'ts when attending an interview.  We completed these tasks:

1) with a partner record yourself responding to "So, tell me a little about yourself".  30 to 60 seconds, roughly.  Airdrop the video onto a desktop computer, then add your personal video to your Grade 8 Portfolio on myBlueprint.


2) Complete your Resume, and correct the edits that Mr. Gale has given to you.  Each of your Work Experience items need to have a description of your work tasks, using verbs.  See Mark's resume for an example.  The sections you need to complete are

Extracurriculars
Hobbies and Interests


3) Ensure that you have complete 3 myBlueprint surveys:  Learning Styles, Personality, Interests.  Add these results to your Grade 8 Portfolio.

4) Read about and add to your Grade 8 Portfolio 3 occupations that you generated from the "Match Results" top tab in "Who am I".

5) Add 3 items to your Grade 8 Portfolio from your OneDrive folder that demonstrate your knowledge and skill level.
