Science 10:  We learned about how DNA can copy itself quickly, which makes possible cell division. This clip shows a microscopic view of Mitosis.  This clip shows the process of DNA copying itself, or DNA replication.  After reading about DNA replication, we did a Mitosis Cut and Paste where we glued the stages in the correct order, then added brief notes for each stage.  The Cut and Paste is due Friday.   Click here to see a list of mitosis notes in random order.  pg 21 # 2-6 was started, but is not due Friday.  In the final minutes we discussed how viruses are not living, but that they use the machinery of living cells to make more copies of themselves.  We watched this short clip on the flu virus.
